BIG WHAT, Brotherkenzie’s new LP, deals in duality. Focused on both Stocker’s relationship with himself and a romantic relationship, BIG WHAT is simultaneously dreamy and existential. The record’s foundation came together quickly, in just two weeks in Stocker’s home studio, the most cohesive and creatively affirming process Stocker had experienced. BIG WHAT isn’t the first Brotherkenzie LP, but in a lot of ways, it feels like it is.
